During a horseback ride between the Beagle Channel and Mount Susana - located halfway between Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego National Park - we will reach the coast of the Beagle Channel. There, the imposing islands Navarino and Hoste will appear before us. This is an easy ride, suitable for people without previous experience. We will enjoy the sub-Antarctic forest, and we will be able to consider its different species. We hope to find many typical birds too.
Following the path on the coast of the channel we will find "concheros", vestiges of an ancient nomadic culture: the Yamana. Before returning to the place from where we left, we will cross the margin of the Pipo River and wade through it to finish this unforgettable ride.
2-hour and 4 hours rides are available (the latter is much more advisable, since the longer route justifies more the time invested in the transfers to the starting of the activity and back to the hotel). These tours include round-trip hotel transfers and bottled water. It is necessary to contact us through the form on this page to find out the dates and times available. The usual start times are: 10 AM and 3 PM.
Transfers from the hotel and back.
