Description
We created this fun and adventurous experience in 1997 to enable all sorts of travelers to enjoy an exhilarating experience en Nature. This afternoon departure follows all the steps, and visits all the attractions of our original tour.
A great plan if you arrive in Ushuaia before 1pm -or if you just want to stay in bed a little bit longer. We ensure a fun, safe and comfortable exploration journey to enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains and the forest along the Escondido and Fagnano lakes as the day extends past 10 PM!
This panoramic tour also includes a great dinner, with good Patagonian red wine in a quiet, comfortable and cozy place in the primeval forest, and a genuine contact with the fleeting lights of the afternoon by the largest lake in Tierra del Fuego.
Itinerary:
2:30 pm to 9:30 pm*
*14:30 - From our office, towards the "Carbajal" and "Tierra Mayor" valleys
Half an hour after leaving from your hotel, and having left Ushuaia behind, we will see impressive glacial valleys, forests and peat bogs along Route 3 towards the North.
*15:30 - Route 3 towards the crossing over the Andes Range
While we gradually gain altitude to reach the Garibaldi Pass, we will enjoy the sight of the Andes Mountains.
*16:00 - Garibaldi Pass: Panoramic view of Lago Escondido
At our stop at the crossing of the Andes through the Garibaldi Pass, we have the first view of Lake Escondido, which we will travel in its entirety from South to North.

All along the Escondido lake coast we find a new environment to explore before entering the forest in our way to lake Fagnano.
*17:00 - Off-Road (through the forest)
We will not say much about this part in which we cross the forest towards the shore of Lake Fagnano... It is best to have a first-hand experience!
*17:30 - Off-Road... through lake Fagnano!
We will continue off-road along a very important portion of the shores of this huge lake... and where the coast is lacking... we will have to through the lake!
Throughout several stops, we will be able to make contact with little-known places and with wonderful views of Lake Fagnano, formerly known as lake Cami (also written as Kami or Kahmi).
The stops along the nearly 100 kilometers long Lake Fagnano are much enjoyable. This is an impressive experience of an ancient and magical landscape.
*18:00 - Arrival to our refuge
At just 80 kilometers from Ushuaia, the deep forest welcomes us serenely. We arrive just in time for lunch...
*18:15 - Dinner with drinks included
It is now time to relax in a quiet place in the forest near the lake. In our cozy refuge, we will have: Choripán (grilled sausage sandwich), grilled beef with salad, dessert and drinks. Vegetarians and coeliacs also enjoy an excellent lunch available by reservation.
*20:00 - We start heading back...
After a friendly and relaxed after-lunch chat in a fantastic and quiet place, we will find the vehicles a few steps away, by the lake.
The way back to the city gives us a new opportunity to meet the Andes and the serene valleys near Ushuaia.
